In a match for the Stowall Cup on Saturday morning on Victoria Square, Marsden (Buller district champions) beat Karamea by two goals to ml. Scorers were: E. Kearns and M. Todd. Westport Ramblers defeated Kowhai (Murchison) by four- goals to nil in a friendly game. A. Henderson was the scorer.
