(Rec. 9.30) LONDON, Oct. 2 The three Western occupying Powers .have intervened in Berlin’s East versus West newspaper war, by ordering the German police to go into Western Berlin’s Russian-controlled elevated railway stations, so as to protect the dealers selling the Westernlicensed newspapers. The Associated Press correspondent at Berlin says: This action was taken after Communist-controlled railway police had systematically confiscated Western-licensed papers from the news stands, and from the railway passengers who bought them.
