The Soviet-sponsored German People’s Council has appealed to people of South Schleswig “to resist attempts to senarate you from Germany, and include you in a separate State under Anglo-Danish protection”. Reuter’s correspondent at Berlin says: The Council stated that, .without the people of South Schleswig being consulted, Danish-British negotiations would begin at London on October 18 on the separation of South Schleswig from Germany.
