U.S. Atom Plant Unionists Pledged

WASHINGTON, Sept. 30.

The United States Government today uairea irom its atom bomb plants all unions whose officers refuse to sign tne non-communisi affidavit required by the Taft-Hartley Labour delations Act.

The unions particularly concerned are two affiliates of the Congres of Industrial Organisations—the United Electrical Workers and the United Public Workers. Both unions have been under Congresional investigation and one witness described the electrical workers as “the largest Commun-ist-dominated organisation! in tinunited States.”
