(Rec. 9.30). WASHINGTON, Sept. 30. . The United States in a brief Note delivered to Moscow thjs week, .told the Soviet that the question of the withdrawal of all occupation troops from Korea was “part of the larger question of Korean unity and hide pendence.” The United States, at an appropriate time, would present its views on the entire issue to the United Nations’ General Assembly. The Soviet announced on September, 19 that it would withdraw its troops from North Korea by December 31 next, and it suggested that the United States should also withdraw from South Korea. Czech Officers Sentenced to Death for Espionage LONDON, Sept. 29. Reuters Prague correspondent says that two non-commissiond officers in the Czechoslovak Army who pleaded guilty to charges of spying for “a certain Western Power” have been sentenced to death. One of them Sergeant Vladimir Cepelka was alleged to have been bought over by gifts of money, cigarettes and nylon stockings by “high-ranking officers of a foreign army.” The prosecution said that agents of the foreign Power had moved freely in Prague for three years under cover of diplomatic mission. They had used the office of the official representative of their country as a base for their Espionage activities.
