A British United Press correspondent at Madrid reports: Senator Gur<icy, tne - Chairman of the United States Senate’s Armed Forces committee, has, with other representatives of the United States defence services, arrived in Madrid from Paris. He is meeting General Franco to-day. He has talked with General Vigon, the Chief of the Spanish General Staff yesterday, and he is expected to see General Davila, the Spanish War Minister, before leaving for Lisbon.
