At a meeting of the New Zealand District Power Boards’ and. Supply Authorities’ Industrial Union ot Employers, the tollowing management committee was elected: President, Mr. J. A. Nash (Manawatu-Oroua); VicePresident, Mr. J. Dean (Franklin); Treasurer, Mr. I. R. Robinson (Hutt Valiev) ; Secretary, Mr. N. G. Dunning (Wellington); members, Messrs G. Brown (Wairarapa), J. Their Excellencies, the GovernorGeneral and Lady Freyberg will leave Wellington by air on Monday October 18, to pay official visits <-o towns in the Bay of Plenty district. Their Excellencies will visit Tauranga, Tepuke, Whakatane, Opotiki and Raukokure. The GovernorGeneral will hold a" military investiture at Tauranga and will present the Ahuwhenua trophy at Rauicokure. They will then return to wellington by air on Thursday, October 21.—P.A.
