COLOUR BAR ? (
WASHINGTON, September 19.
The United States State Department to-day claimed that the colour bar had nothing to do with the incident involving Ras Tmiu. the Ethiopian Minister to the United States, at a meeting of the diplomatic corps in Washington last Monday night. It said the whole incident arose between the Minister took, a wrong seat. Earlier reports said Ras linru had been asked to leave the diplomatic box. and go to the negro section of the audience. v j t President Truman was scheduled to speak at the rnc-eting.
