Belgian Statesman Not Expecting War

(Rec. 9.50) LONDON, Sept. 19 M. Spaak told Belgians, not to be disturbed by the talk of a coming war, reports the correspondent of the Associated Press at Brussels. He said: “Some believe that it would be enough that a spark should be struck in the Four Power contacts at Berlin to light a new, frightful conflict. These are the thoughts of pessimists. Ido not believe that they will be realised fbi- a long time. Nobody wants war.”
