(Rec 11.10) NEW YORK, Sept 18. A United States Air Force pilot miraculously escaped death when a iet fighter, travelling at nearly m.p.h.,- disintegrated before 3000 spectators at San Berardino, in California. The pilot, Captain R. iVi. Barnes, parachuted and escaped with only a scratched ear.
