The Minister was not prepared to amend the Act to give past students representation under their own right, but pointed out that the Education Board had the right to appoint three representatives on the Board of Managers and had only appointed two, and he suggested that the Board exercise its full rights in this respect and appoint as its third representative a member of the Past Students’ Association.
