BLUFF CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER
P.A. INVERCARGILL, Sept 17. Charged with manslaughter, Walter Momo Fowler, aged 25, an oystermaji of Bluff, was remanded by Mr W.' A. Harlow, S.M., to-day until September 24, bail being allowed. It was alleged that on September* 11 at Bluff, the accused struck Thomas McKeown, aged 45, a member of the crew of the Port Wyndham, therebycausing his death.
