NOVEMBER, 1948. .Applicants may enter for both examinations. It is also proposed to hold following examinations on 27th. NOVEMBER, 1948, in centres where there are sufficient candidates: — INTERMEDIATE EXAMINATION: Shorthand 130 words per minute; Typewriting 50 words per minute; confused manuscript test. Entrants must have previously passed Senior Examination. SPECIAL EXAMINATION: Shorthand 150 words per minute;. Typewriting 50 words per minute; confused manuscript test. Entrants must have previously passed Intermediate Examination. Exception is made only where Commission is satsified that candidates who have not passed any Public Service Examination for Shorthandtypists are up to the standard of examination below the one entered for. Each case will be decided on its merits. Applications close Sth. OCTOBER, but late entries will be received at Office of Public Service Commission, up to 22nd. October, ON ADDITIONAL PAYMENT of 5/- LATE FEE. Entry fees: 10/- per examination. Candidates employed in Public Service are not required to pay entry fees. NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 22nd.
