Ex-Nazi Barred
. ’ CANBERRA, Sept. 12. The Commonwealth has barred the former Nazi internee Arnold von Skerst from taking part in the Commonwealth loan quiz. Von Skerst was interned during the war The Prime Minister, Mr Chifley, conferred with the Commonwealth loan organiser after the New South Wales president of the Returned Soldiers’ League, Mr Bolton, had telegraphed the Prime Minister asking him to order von Skerst’s withdrawal from the quiz team.
