BOXING LOUIS NOT SURE HE WANTS TO RETIRE
(Rec 7.15) PHILADELPHIA, Sept 15. Joe Louis said he was not sure he wanted to retire from the ring, and he would formally notify the National Boxing Association, and New York Athletic Commission by December 25 of his decision, thus taking advantage of the full six months allowed after he knocked out Walcott.
