Westland Attains National Savings Quota In Six Months
This, week, Westland attained ns annual National Savings quota for the financial year, in less than six months, being one of the earliest provinces to achieve the honour. Mr F. N'. - Smallwood yesterday telegraphed the National Savings Committee’s congratulations. Ross made splendid progress last week with its existing groups and formed another strong one .to bring investments to almost four times the quota. Reefton exceeded it’s quota by five and a half times, Runanga and Brunner four times, and Greymouth two and a half times. Investments were: —
