CEASE FIRE IN KASHMIR UNLIKELY
(Rec. 9.45). LONDON, Sept. 7. The United Nations Commission on Kashmir has at Karachi released correspondence showing that, while both the Indian and the Pakistan Governments accepted the Commission’s cease-fire proposals, they added conditions which the Commission could not accept. This is reported by the Times correspondent at Karachi. In the Commission’s view, there is little hope of the cease-fire resolution being carried out.
