WRESTLING McCready v. Claybourne
P.A. DUNEDIN, September G. The largest audience of the season saw Earl McCready (17.5) defeat Jack ; Claybourne (16.2) on points in a professional wrestling contest in the Town Hall to-night, after each secured a fall. Claybourne took the first fall in the fourth round with a bodypress. following a drop-kick. McCready gained an equalising fall in the seventh round with a rockingchair splits, after a series of forearm jolts. McCready was on top throughout the last round to gam the decision. The bout was the best of the season.
