BROADCAST ON VISIT TO CANADA < (Rec. 9.30) OTTAWA, Sept. 5 The Prime Minister of Eire, Mr Costello, told reporters here that Eire .would-come to Canada’s aid if ever sho were threatened by war from a Communistic country. Broadcasting earlier, Mr Costello 'said: “The virus of atheistic Communism is poisoning the blood stream of nations and of peoples. Fortified by the support of their spiritual empire throughout the world, the Irish people’ willingly take part in repelling the advance of these materialist concepts of life that aim to overthrow the civilisation of which Canada and Ireland are products.”
