DEATH SENTENCE FOR MURDER OF SIX CHILDREN

SYDNEY, September 1. A plea of insanity did not avail Frederick Charles Hall, a labourer, aged 48, of Glen Innes, who was sentenced to death in the Tamworth Supreme Court for having shot his six children dead at their home on July 2. The Crown alleged that the shooting was premeditated.
