BILLIARDS NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS
P.A. DUNEDIN, Sept. 2. The second round of the New Zealand amateur billiards championship concluded to-night. The results were as follows:— J. J. Shepherd (Auckland) beat V. Choat (Canterbury) by 666 to 350. Best breaks were: —Shepherd: 75, 71, 63, 55, 50; average 13. Choat: 38, 27, 27, 25. R. Carrick (’Auckland) beat A. Ruddick (Otago) by 666 to 528? The best breaks were:—Carrick: 102, 68, 55, 52; average 14.8. Rudduck: 91, 51, 35; average 11.7.
