The ■ following are the results of last week’s games in the forty-fives competition: Cosmopolitan 79, beat County 66; Boarding House won by default from Buller; Albion 80 beat Criterion 53; Hagerty’s 83, beat Royal 77; Sergeant’s Hill 65, beat Bettley’s 58; Kilkenny’s 65, beat City 53. In the semi-final and final, played on Monday night, Albion 46, beat Hagerty’s 35. In the final, Cosmopolitan 40. beat Albion 38, leaving Cosmopolitan the winners® of the Shield for 1948. The following is the draw for the Albion Cup Knock-out on Thursday evening at 8 o’clock: Bettley’s v. Criterion; Kilkenny’s v. County; Boardinghouse v. Buller; Hagerty’s v. Albion; Cosmopolitan v. Sergeant’s Hill; Royal v. City.
