RAILWAY SHUNTER FATALLY INJURED

P.A. NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 30 Fatal injuries were received by. a shunter, who was run over by a string of. trucks at the Stratford railway yards, early this morning. He was Walter Horace Rogers, aged 32, married, with three children. Rogers, who was in charge of a shunting gang was riding on 'the cow-catcher of a locomotive and trucks were running on 'a track alongside. When he fell from the cow-catcher, the wheels of the trucks passed over him. He died about an hour after admission to the hospital.
