DISRATED SOVIET CONSUL-GENERAL SAILS FROM NEW YORK
Mrs. Kosenkina Undergoes Operation (Rec. 9.10). NEW YORK, Aug. 28. Stripped of his credentials as So-viet-General, here, M. Jacob Lomakin sailed to-day on the liner ‘•Stockholm” for Sweden. M. Lomakin told steamer officials that he would attend the United Nations General Assembly at Faris in September next, as an adviser to the Russian delegation. He said that he did not know whether he would go directly to Paris from Sweden, or would visit Russia first.. < M. Lomakin was ousted by the United States for his part in the Russian teacherr. Mrs Kasenkina s case. She jumped from the window in the Soviet Consulate to gain her free-j dom. , M. Lomakin sailed two hours after the Roosevelt Hospital surgeons successfully operated on .Mrs Knsenkina’s knee, which was injured when she jumped from the Soviet Consulate 16 days’ a"n. i As M. Lomakin walked through a crowd, which assembled to watch him depart to-dav there was some “booing.” He refused to be interviewed ' nress reporters, but he said: “I am geir- home for a rest. I have nothing to sav beyond that. Everything has been said before in official Notes.” M. Lomakin was escorted up the eaneway by ten New York pobce. His wife and two children sailed with him. .
