[Our own. Correspondent] The committee responsible for the running of the forthcoming bazaar in aid of the Domain Board amenities, is now well under way. Prospects of success are excellent and it hoped that the board will soon be in a position to carry out all the improvements it desires Obituary Mr John Walker, whose death occurred at Kaiata last week-end was an old and respected resident of Blackball. was a native of Scotland, and a stone mason by trade. Mr Walker, who was living with . his daughter, Mrs H. Baillie, at Kaiata, had been in failing health for some time. His wife predeceased him a year ago. The sympathy of a wide circle of friends will be extended to his family in their bereavement. Personals , , Mrs M. Jennison, Main Road, and her daughter, Cynthia, are spending a holiday in Christchurch. Mrs V. Nyberg, Main Road, who is receiving treatment in the Grey Hospital, expects to return home shortly. Mrs T. Batey, Stafford Street, who is an inmate of the Grey Hospital, is making a good recovery. . Mr W. Brown, Main Road, is on a health visit to Timaru. , x . Mr G. Oliver, South Belt Street, is undergoing treatment in the Grey Hospital. _
