INANGAHUA COUNTY COUNCIL
The Inangahua County Council, although it received three applications for .the position of assistant clerk, made no permanent appointment ana arranged with Miss J. Hannah to continue in the meantime. . The Public Works Department is to be asked to obtain from the Railways Department steel girders for the building of a new bridge at Coal Creek, .Inangahua Landing. The chairman and Crs. P. J. O’Regan, J. McGregor and J. J. Coghlan, will represent the Council at the South Island Local Bodies annual conference in Westport on October 13. -
