GENEVA, August 24 The United Nations -Economic and Social Council laid the foundations for a Charter on Women’s Rights. It provides:— (1) All the United Nations members should give women the same political rights as men. (2) Women should have equal access with men to public office. (3) No discrimination against women resulting from conflicts' in national laws on nationality, domicile. marriage or divorce. (4) Women should be free to marry whom they- please and leave their countries of origin to be with their husbands. (5) Women should receive equal pay with men for equal work.
