The Greymouth Women’s Marching Association, on Monday night discussed the question or forming a West Coast centre to control the activities of marching teams in the Westport, Greymoutn and Hokitika districts. The final step towards achieving the goal of local teams would be taken towards the end of next month, it was statea. At tnis period, the secietary of the Dominion organisation, Mr K. W. Kilpatrick, will visit Greymouth to arrange for the formation of a centre. Miss J. During the past week a case of tuberculosis was reported on the West Coast. In Canterbury there were three deaths from tubeiculosis and one from hydatids, while there were reported three cases of scarlet fever, four of tuberculosis, two ot hydatids, and one each of poliomyelitis, enteru fever and erysipelas.
