Gramaphone Records To Be Made in N.Z.
WELLINGTON, August 10. Mr A. T Wyness, of Wellington, a director of a world-wide gramophone recording company, returned from Australia by Skymaster to-day after arranging for record-press!ng machines to be imported from England. It is possible that from early next year, recordings bv New Zealand sinsrers will be made for the retaitrade.
