MEXICO CITY, August 8 Australia defeated Mexico by four matches to one in the Davis Cup. In the final singles Vega beat Quist ,9/7, 6/4, 6/2; Sidwell beat Guerrero, 6/1, 6/4, 6/3. . r Quist, who is suffering from dysentry, was listless and inaccurate and played very feebly. The Mexican champion, had only to keep the ball in play to win in straight sets.
