Communists Holding Youth Conference In Warsaw

WARSAW, August 8. Cne thousand youths from the International Conference of Working Youth paraded the streets of Warsaw. There are large delegations from Russia, and Eastern European countries. The United States refused passports for an American delegation. because "attendance is not in the United States interests.” Delegates from fifty nations have been convened to draft a world youth charter for presentation to the United Nations. Mr. Albert Williams, of Sydney, who is one of the key organisers, said the charter which pledged youth to fight against Fascism for "peace, democracy and a better future,” would be adopted on August 14. The youths on their narade shouted: “Down with the Marshall Plan! Down with American imperialism !”
