OBITUARY
MISS C. M. HADDOCK Many friends, especially •in South Westland, will learn with regrec of the death of Miss Catherine Mary Haddock, whose funeral took place at Ross on Wednesday last. A native of Ross, she was the eldest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Joseph Haddock, and was 75 years of age. She had resided lately at Nazareth House, Christchurch, where her death occurred last Mondav. Requiem Mass was celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Hokitika, by the Rev Fatner Lordan, of Hokitika, who also conducted the funeral service at the church and graveside in Ross. The late Miss Haddock leaves two s’sters Sister Mary Alohonsus, of Patea; Mrs W. Sims (Wellington); and six brothers, Thomas and • Edward.
