LATEST PARIS FASHIONS (Rec 11.0 p.m.) LONDON, Aug 6. French autumn and winter fashion shows emphasise the return of slim skirts,” says ‘’The Times” F’aris correspondent. Some of the skirts are so tight that Ihe wearer walks with difficulty. Other skirts are modified versions of the fast disappearing “New Loo’,:” period. The trends now being shown include a medley of ideas, culled from the years between 1925 and 1933, with the skirt hems modified to 12 inches from the ground for ordinary day wear.
