Ukrainian Delegate Accuses Three Powers

IN.Z.P.A.—Reuter Cable]. (Rec. 8.20) BELGRADE, Aug. 6. The Ukrainian delegate, M. Baranovsky, at the Danube conference accused Britain, the United States and France of “posing as disinterested guardians of the inviolability of international agreements.” M. Baranovsky said the Three Powers also wanted to conceal the stubborn struggle waged by them in defence of narrow interests at the expense of the Danubian people’s sovereign rights. He accused Mr Cannon, of America of refusing to admit the Danube navigations political importance, and of explaining the United States interest in the Danube as solely dictated by practical and business reasons.
