French Look to Britain to Join Europe’s United States
PARIS, August 4. The Finance Minister, M. Reynaud said he hoped Britain would fully support the plan for a United States of Europe, which was necessary to encourage America to keep on with aid to Europe. “If at Tre Hague European Conference in May our English friends were reticent, we now ha,ve good reason to hope that after the Dornin ion’s conference in London in September, they will join in the structural reform of Eurone.
