Dutch Nurses for Christchurch
AUCKLAND, June 3. Two young Dutch nurses, who decided that they wanted to see something of the world, . were among the passengers who arrived from Sydney by the Skymasted this morning. They were Miss M. J. Bakker who was at the Amsterdam Cancer Institute, and Miss J. van den Els, who was a nurse at the Amsterdam Public Hospital. Both speak good English. They explained that favourable Reports front a friend in Christchurch had influenced their decision to come to Both will work at the Christchui ch Public Hospital.
