WAIUTA NOTES

[Our own Correspondent] Mr and Mrs Fiveash, of Wellington, have been visiting Mr and Mrs J. Taylor. Mrs Wl. Winstanley of Nelson, was a recent visitor as the guest of Mr and Mrs Ward. Mr G. Stephens has left by plane for Auckland, to attend the ReidHowie wedding, which takes place there on Saturday. Mrs Pascoe, who sustained a severe cut on the hand, has been ad--mitted to the Reefton Hospital. Mr and Mrs Sands have left on return to Wellington. Mr and Mrs Baisley, of Wellington, recently paid a short visit to the township, renewing old acquaintances.

Mrs V. Clarke has left on a visit to Christchurch.

Mr and Mrs Murphy, of Westport, have been visiting the latter’s parents, Mr and Mrs J. Devescovi. Mrs V. Thorn who is a patient in the Greymouth Hospital, is making satisfactory progress. Miss B. Hogg has been visiting her' parents for the term holidays, and has returned to Otago University.
