Yesterday’s airways passengers at Westport were.—From Napier, Miss N. McNamara; from Wellington Mrs D. Cochrane, Messrs McKinley, M. Kelly, Simpson, E. Dockery, Carter. Many visitors have arrived in Westport to attend White Star Football Club’s Jubilee Celebrations. Many of them are old Star footballers. The team of Boxers of the Police Youth Club arrived back in Westport from Christchurch yesterday, also Constable H. Williams and Mr J. Porter (trainer). Mr G. W. Stephenson ,of Mutakaraka, is visiting his sister, Mrs J. Clayton, at Westport. Mr.. Stephenson at one time played -football for the White Star Club and once held the position of secretary" to that club.
