Watersiders’ Refusal of Work Leads to a Penalty

WELLINGTON. Mav 31. -■ A refusal of Harbour Board work by about 30 non-union waterside workers this morning led te their being informed that they .would not be engaged to-day. Two ships, the inaha and the Taupata, were affected. This was announced by the manager of the Wellington branch of the Waterfront Industry Commission, Captain G. C. Vm Den Bergh.
