MODEL CAR TO ATTEMPT WORLD SPEED RECORD.—A model car built by a British firm is to attempt the world speed record for model cars. The car had to be modelled on the lines of a modern sports car with a minimum wheel base of only 14 inches. The engine and the car were designed-by Mr Basil Charles Miles, of Electronic Developments (Surrey) Ltd., and were built at their Kingston-on-Thames, Surrey, works.
