Red Forces Near Manchurian Capital
NANKING, May 28. Large Red forces are reported to be massing east and south of Changchun, Manchuria’s capital. In North Kiangsu, the Nationalists aded by gun-boats, repulsed wth heavy losses the Reds attackng the Yangtse port of Kuohan, 60 miles east of Nanking. Further north the Nationalists attempting to reduce the Communist base at Yenchei.g, are meeting stiff opposition. Nationalist heavy guns are now pounding the Red defences south of the city.
