Moana Women’s Institute

At the monthly meeting of the above held recently in the school, Mrs Price presided over a very good attendance. Mrs Dreckman gamqd the highest number of noints for the year in the best bloom comnetition, and received a painting of Lake Brunner. The gift of Mrs Malcolm senr. A comnetition for plain scones was won by Mesdames Price and Malcolm equal, and a best bloom competition by Mesdames Dreckman and R. Dense eaual. A demonstration of crocheting was given by Mrs E. Dense and was much appreciated. At a “bring and buy” sales table good business was done, with Mrs Rankin as auctioneer.
