NEW PRESIDENT FOR GREY WATERSIDERS
The Greymouth branch of the New Zealand Waterside Workers’ Union, at its annual meeting yesterday elected Mr W. Meates as president. Mr Meates defeated the sitting president Mr J. Doyle by 60 votes to 57. Election results are:— President: —W. Meates, 60; *J. Doyle 57; informal, nil. Vice-president:—P. Potts, 71; *F. McEnaney, 45; informal. 1 Delegate to Trades Council:—*J..
