Mr and Mrs C. A. White of Wanganui, who have been visiting Westland. will leave this morning for Westport on their return home.
Mr I. Scully of the Social Security Department, Christchurch, who has been visiting Greymouth, leaves today for Westport.
Mr D. L. Burt has been appointed as bacteriologist at the Grev Public Hospital. Mi - Burt, who is at present with the Wellington Flospital Board, will commence his duties on May 1.
Twelve year’s service with the Grey Hospital Board was recently terminated by Miss E. Flaherty, who has accepted a position in Hokitika with the Westland Hospital Board. A letter of appreciation is to be sent Miss Flaherty for her work from the Hospital Board.
