Will he Back Wallace ? (Rec 10.50) NEW YORK, April 12. Joe Louis, the boxer, announced to-dav that he would, “go into politics,” after his world heavyweight championship bout with Joe Walcott on June 23, and he would campaign for a presidential candidate.. Louis returned to New York from London to-day aboard the Queen Elizabeth.

He would not say which of the presidential candidates he would support.
