MINERS’ DECISION
A decis’cn to agree to the request by the Government that the miners of the Buller district should work on the Anzac Day and May Day holidays was made by the Buller Miners’ Central Committee at a meeting on Saturday, which was attended by the national delegate for the Buller district, Mr A. McArthur, and the following delegates: Messrs' F. Connew and I. Tyler (State Mines), W. Watson (Millerton), V. Anderson and B. Lightbown (Denniston), R. Philp (Charming Creek), and E. Batt (Buller Gorge).
