AUSTRALIAN NEWS
SYDNEY, April 11. A zinc plant, casting several million pounds and employing hundreds of workers, will be established in Australia. The plant will be complete with ancillary industries. The Imperial Smelting Coruoration was purchased recently for £4,000,000 by the Zinc Corporation. At present Australia has only one zinc refinery at Risdon, Tasmania.
