Estates to the value of £1.773,373 were reported and accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during the month of February, 1948. The total value of estates and funds under administration by the Public Trustee on March 31, 1947, wa5£66.833,004 £66.833,004 and the new business for the 11 months ended February -J was £8,264,233. Grants of administration mana by the Court in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 176 for the month. During the month 648 new -wills appointing the Public Trustee executor were prepared on behalf of testators and lodged for safe custody a.r. w 529 existing wills were, revised to provide for changes desired by the testators. The total number of wills ,* now held in the Public Trust Office on behalfof living persons is 139 391.
