Refunds if Bus Late:
The owners of a bus service wno refunds the passengers’ fares if nis buses are a minute lat P has arrived in Sydney bv air from the Middle East. He is a New Zealander, Gerald Nairn, joint owner of the Nairn Transport Company of Damascus in Syria. He qualified his statement by admitting that he has not had to refund a fare yet though the 554mile desert journey is scheduled to take 15 hours. The company, said Mr Nairn, now operates 16 deluxe 20passenger Ameican-built buses, each air-conditioned and containing a cocktail bar, a steward service, radio and toilet. The service runs from Damascus t 0 Baghdad with branch routes connecting with Beirut ?.nd Haifa. Four new super buses have been ordered.—Sydney 12.
