Crossing Fatalities
LEVIN, April 12.
Seriously injured at the Makerua crossing on Friday when the NapierWellington express hit a truck, Petei’ Heremaia, aged 19, single, a market gardener, of Opiki, succumbed to his injuries in the Palmerston North Hospital, this morning. The truck contained three men, Heremaia is the second victim.
